All users of GTA–RSC must agree to the following,

Your use of the GTA–RSC services is for academic and non-commercial research purposes only. Your use of the GTA–RSC services is governed by and restricted under the Subscription Agreement between you, your host university or institution (the "Subscriber") and GTA–RSC. You may not use data downloaded from the GTA–RSC database for any non-academic or commercial endeavor.

You must protect the confidentiality of your GTA–RSC username and password. You may not reveal, disclose, transfer or share your username and password with anyone, including but not limit to a co-author or other collaborator.

GTA-RSC does not make any representations or guarantees about the accuracy or timeliness of Internet links quoted in GTA–RSC, all links quoted can only be used as research reference. Although the contents have been obtained from sources believed to be reliable, they are provided to you on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. With respect to these services and contents, and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GTA-RSC hereby disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties of any kind to the user or any third party, including, but not limited to, representations and warranties regarding accuracy, timeliness, completeness, correctness, currentness, noninfringement, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose, or any representations or warranties arising from usage, custom, trade, or by operation of law.

In the event of your use of and access to the GTA-RSC services being invalid or suspended owing to change of affiliation of your institution or university or additional restrictions on your use of and access to the GTA-RSC services placed by your university or institution, the institution administrator shall assume the responsibility for publicity, and the GTA-RSC shall give no other notices.

GTA-RSC assumes no responsibility for the consequences of any errors or omissions. In no event shall GTA-RSC be liable to the user or anyone else for any loss or injury caused in whole or in part by contingencies beyond its control or negligence in procuring, compiling, interpreting, editing, writing, reporting or delivering any content.

In no event shall GTA-RSC be liable to the user or anyone else for any claim arising out of or relating to GTA-RSC -provided content, including, but not limited to, any decision made or action taken by you in reliance upon such content or for any types of damages (such as, but not limited to, direct, consequential, special, incidental, punitive or indirect damages), even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

GTA-RSC Privacy Policy

GTA Research Service Center understands that the collection and dissemination of personally identifiable information may be of concern to users of the site. Because we gather certain types of information, users should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and release of that information.

The site's User Account Application requires users to provide contact information such as name, organization, position and e-mail address. Additional items may be necessary to provide including research interests, address and etc.

GTA-RSC uses user and other information to identify the dominant areas of interest of users and better prepare future content of the site. The main goal is to constantly improve the value of the site and to protect the security of the entire GTA-RSC system.

Occasionally, GTA-RSC will send emails to advise users of additional databases, changes within the site or information that may be otherwise helpful.

GTA-RSC generally does not share personally identifiable information with any other entities. However, users are advised that information maintained by GTA-RSC may be disclosed in connection with judicial or administrative proceedings or if in the sole discretion of GTA-RSC disclosure is necessary to protect GTA-RSC.
